Hi Dudu2002, Thankyou for the response. I am unsure what I did wrong? I will look over the thread again for more Information on how to read with the SPI programmer and supply a correct dump if I can. Cheers.

thanks for that.. turns out for this model i had to disassemble to get access to both chips with the clip. but then i kept getting blank dumps until i had cmos battery and power supply plugged in. all good now appreciate the help. check your PM for files. thanks.
@Dudu2002. Big thanks to you my friend. Successfully installed DW1510 card. I have a tri boot system (Cloudready,OSX,Win10) Card works flawless in all OS without any extra work or manual drivers. Stellar work on this mod.

I know this is quite old thread, but I have also the same problem. I have Lenovo E540 and desperately need to change Wifi Card to a AC/dualband one. My bios is older - J9ET88WW (2.08) . Link to files need to "read" the bios are non active, so I can not provide data right now for your investigation. Is there any way to help please?
Hello sorry for bringing this up again but I just got a free Lenovo E540 with J9ET88WW (2.08) because guess what? The wireless is broken...Is my BIOS old enough to be flashed? Or do I have to disassemble and clamp the EEPROM like with the newer BIOSes? Could you please advise? I'd like to mod this bios so I can install a different component.
Thanks.
