M3A79T-Dlx BIOS support X6
#1
I'm new here, and I really like what I've read already. People seem very intelligent here about how to mod BIOS.

What I'm looking for is a way to get X6 support on my M3A79T-Dlx. From what I've heard from the engineers over at ASUS, the only problem they are having with their BIOS is getting the Turbo Core supported with the 790FX.

I'm just looking for a way to get my Motherboard to boot with the CPU so I can start using.

If anyone can point me in the right direction to either edit a BIOS or to one that is already made, please let me know.

This Is A Requirment For Every AMD CPU Upgrade Request:-

Please provide us with the following information:-

1. The make and model of your motherboard.
2. Current Bios Version
3. Link To Bios Download
4. CPU You Wish To Add Support For
5. Link To Donor Bios - This is another BIOS which uses the same chipset and is preferably from the same vendor and supports the CPU you want us to add support for. Without this we cannot mod!

This information will help us to help you!

Asus M3A79T-Deluxe, current BIOS is 1501, with link here.

Looking for support for the X6 CPUs, namely the 1090T.

And the other BIOS: M4A79T-Deluxe

The only difference between the two boards is that one is Socket AM2+ (M3A), and the other is AM3 (M4A).

if you need anything else, let me know.

Sorry , but we are currently trying to investigate how to replace AGESA in Ami's 1B module. This isnt easy and we do not want to proceed without further knowledge and research.

Good news Dolk

We can now attempt to replace the AGESA embedded within the 1B module!

Heres your mod , try at your own risk!
