ACER Aspire One bios with two fd files
#1
Hi

Beginner question:
Why does my Laptop's (Acer Aspire One ,AOD255E) BIOS (InsydeH20 3.5) has two fd files? Which one should I take to work with (phoenix Tool)?
I tried PAV70D2.fd and the tool extracted a structure. But what for is the second one? Can I build a valid BIOS with only one file or do I have to merge them somehow before?

I have tried all ways to upgrade bios of Acer aspire One D255e, from acer drivers, but I think that Acer company has an error making .zip files or making .fd files, and the BIOS files are for other model in all cases. Somebody is agree with me?? (excuse my english, sorry...)

Hey guys same for me too!
I have an Acer Aspire 7 A715-75G. BIOS - (Insyde H20 - Rev : 5.0)

My laptop has two fd bios files too. Can you please help me to know the difference between those two "FH5VFx64.fd" and "FH5VMx64.fd"?
In case I want to flash one of my bios files with a programmer, I don't have any idea which one to pick and flash.

Hey, thanks man. Yeah theres no problem with my laptop. I was learning to flash bios with a programmer. But in case of emergency situations if I want to flash my bios with an external programmer I want to know whether which one of these bios fd files to choose and flash.

Now that you said that the there are two motherboards under the same name.. Could I know which one of these fd files shall I choose for flashing my motherboard? ("FH5VFx64.fd" or "FH5VMx64.fd"?).

My laptop serial number is "NHQ97SI0041440F1963400".

Thanks in advance. Would be greatly appreciated to help me know which one?
