[Request] HP 635 RSA-Signed :-(
#1
Hello!

I bought a SSD and a Wi-Fi module and wanted to use both now.
Only now I know that there is a BIOS-lock  Confused

Can you help me to get a patched BIOS?

I need a whitelist remove and AHCI unlock.

Here's the BIOS-File. This is already a backup file:
Bios F48

Thank,
Sneaky

I found this filename on another Post:

sp55355_SLIC_NWL_ADV.rar

But the file is already deleted. Do anyone have this file?
The file in the repository doesn't work.

Thanks,
Sneaky

Hi!

Tanks a lot!
But unfortunately it doesn't work.
There ist a error like: "the boot block does not support downgrade of bios".

I have deliberately destroyed the Bios and tryed to recover it with a older Bios verion.
But it doesn't work to. I can only recover with Version F42.

Do you have any idea?

(Sorry for my bad english, i hope you can understand me :-) )

sp55355_SLIC_NWL_ADV = F.42 !
If You can Recover this version F.42 You can Downgrade to It
Then after recovered this version You will use the Bios Mod
just modifying the Platform.ini file !
open It by a TXT Editor and modify this row . . .

[Bios_Version_Check]
Flag=2 ****************** to Flag=0 *************************
;This flag is the switch of checking BIOS version.
;Flag default : 2.
; 0 : Don't check rom file version.
; 1 : Check BIOS version.
; When rom file version is older then BIOS, it will display
; a warning message and close application.
; 2 : Depend on BIOS report.

[ForceFlash]
ALL=0
BB_PEI=0
CPU_Microcode=0
Variable=0
DXE=0
EC=0
Password=0
OEM_NVS=0
Logo=0
Type#09=0
Type#08=0
;ALL default : 0.
; 0 : Reserve all protected areas.
; 1 : Flash all ROM parts.
;BB_PEI, CPU_Microcode, Variable, DXE, EC, Password, OEM_NVS, Logo, Type#09, Type#08
; default : 0.
; 0 : Protect these areas if BIOS report them are protected areas.
; 1 : Force flash these areas if BIOS report them are protected areas.

Flag=2 to Flasg=0 , then save and try to flash !
Let me know
Regards

P.S. If It will preoduce again a BootBlock error I will try to force modifying the dll !

Hi!

Thanks for your help! But it doesn't work.
It's the same error, that a downgrade is not supported.

Best regards,

Hello again :-)

I could load a org. BIOS file with Version F35 on the Laptop.
But if I want to use the modified Bios F42 from you, the program
continued says, that a downgrade is impossible... but that isn't a
downgrade (F35 -> F42)?

I'm confused? Perhaps i should give up....
