No !
This is only to Extract Bios Files for use with PMT 264 !
To flash the Bios Mod You have to follow this one . . .

No mate You have to open a Command Prompt with Admin Rights and get
a CLI window C:\ with cursor blinking then run FLASH.BAT !
How to open a Command Prompt from Folder with FLASH.BAT file . . .
open the folder like normal and make pointer on empty place then press
left shift key and right mouse click so It will be open a window ro choice
commands then get "open command prompt from here" and left click to
choice It !
Now You can execute the command into right way !
You can execute Flash.bat (like a batch file) or execute the command which is
wrote into that's WINUPTP.EXE /s
Any command is Always followed by ENETER KEY !!!
Let me know
Regards

From lenovo site . . .

Manual Update

This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer.

[Downloading file]
Click once on the underlined file name. Once this is done, some pop-up windows will appear.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
In the window to choose Run or Save, click the Save button.
Choose the folder you would like to download the file to and click the Save button.
A different window will appear and the download will begin and complete. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully.

[Extracting file]
Make sure to be logged on with administrative account on the target computer.
Make sure the AC adapter is firmly connected to the target computer.
Locate the directory where the file was downloaded.
Locate the file that was downloaded and double-click it.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
In the "Select Destination Location" window, click Next. If you would like to select a different folder, click Browse.
In the "Ready to Install" window, click Install. All the necessary files will be extracted to the folder selected in the step 10.

[Updating the BIOS]
Make sure the checkbox next to "Install ..... now" is checked and click Finish.

AT THIS POINT YOU HAVE BE SURE TO DESELECT THE CHECKBOX JUST TO SAVE BIOS FILES !!!

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I ran PMT tool and got Pubkey(x1).

Now to mod the bios should I copy your folder into c:\DRIVERS\FLASH\8quj12us folder and run FLASH.bat as ADMIN (from cmd).
Then continue with the install from exe, which was paused for extracting the files before.

Is that right?

Thanks for your help.

Continuing install didn't work. I got a message saying that BIOS is same, no need for update.

Ok. So I was able to flash with your instructions. After the changing the network card, computer wont reboot. It wont get to windows, just keep on rebooting on repeat.

The card I am trying to install is intel dual band wireless-ac 7260HMW WiFi+Bluetooth 4.0 PCIe Half Mini Wifi Card.

It's not bricked or halted. Works with the old card and without any wifi card too. Just does not work with new wifi card. Goes to main Thinkpad boothing bios screen and restart.
