[REQUEST] Lenovo G710 BIOS Whitelist Removal
#91
I think I bricked my laptop. Try to change the time from bios settings and now the computer won't boot. The fans start spinning but nothing happens. I try to reset the bios take out the battery and bios battery, but no success.
Is there have any way to fix this or it's hard bricked?

Try this recovery procedure:
Download this file: http://rghost.net/7dMtCdGdz
1. Copy file ECNX64.fd to FAT formatted USB key (USB 2.0)
2. Turn off the laptop
3. Unplug the power cord.
4. Plug USB key in the target machine.
5. Press and hold Fn+B key combination (or Fn+R)
6. While holding Fn-B, plug in the power cord
7. Still holding Fn-B, press "Power button" to power on the system, then it will recover the
BIOS automatically.

Nothing happens. Is it have to show some picture or loading bar because the screen stays black.

Edit: now I notice, when I press Fn+R and power up the the computer, the green light on the USB drive start blinking for few seconds but that's all.
