Hi, I could totally use this as well.

Running Backup tools gives me https://www.sendspace.com/file/ficzas.

However, running the universal bios backup gives a "kernel library is invalid!" error.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry to say the modified bios did not work

Following errors:

PDR region does not exist

GBE region does not exist

Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by Bios preventing flash access.

Contact target system bios vendor for option to disable protected range registers.

Used USB drive to boot system per instructions. Ran flash.bat

Please advise...

Thank you.

You have to use an HW SPI Pogrammer :

Hi there,

I bought my girlfriend a Lenovo G50-80 Touch. Her WiFi card is having sporadic connection issues so I purchased a newer and better Intel wifi card (Wireless-AC 8260) but found that it was not on the Whitelist.

I have updated the BIOS to the latest available.

The BIOS installed is b0cna0ww.
It is available here: https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mob...cna0ww.exe

Original WiFi card is an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160.
Instance Path = PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B4&SUBSYS_82708086&REV_93\780CB8FFFF65E9

Hardware ID's:
Code:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B4&SUBSYS_82708086&REV_93
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B4&SUBSYS_82708086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B4&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B4&CC_0280

Thank you for any and all help.
(PS - I already have the CH341A/Test clip needed to manually read/flash)

EDIT: Will Try to Add Report/Dump Tomorrow!

EDIT: Will Try to Add Report/Dump Tomorrow!

I attempted to get a backup with UBBT2.0 but it stated that the BIOS was not recognized.

I then attempted to use BackupTools12 but it stated that "failed to disable write protection for the bios space".

Not sure how to proceed.

Here is the Failed results backup anyways:
