Unlock HP G72-b02sg WiFi
#1
Hi all,
I want to use my new intel 622ANHMW 6200 6200agn but I get a bios error message 702!

How can I get my card running ?

The ROM is encrypted with RSA, in the original sp55430.exe there is an file called 01439.fd, the encrypted bios

If I had a decrypted version of this file, I could patch the file with new Hardware ID's from my card.

I found a tool called Phoenixtool256, it produce the file 01439.fd.DEC but if I view this file it dosen't look like a decrypted ROM file. It produces also a dump directoy with a lot of ROM files, these file are decrypted, but I don't now how to go on with this files, to produce a new ROM file.

Maybe some one here can help me, that were nice.

Hello to all

The good new's
I answered all my questions myself.

The found Bios from Camil don't handle the whitelist-problem but it open all menues in the bios, that is very good and nice work from camil, but that don't helped me with my not whitelisted WiFi card. I found another bios from Camile again https://www.bios-mods.com/BIOS/index.php...telists%2F, that stops the whitelist and this was the solution for my problem, my card come up in windows now, fine.

Is there a antenna problem, yes it is. The old antenna isn't working with my new WiFi card. I need a new one, and that will cost me another 15 bugs and a lot of work to find the right one and put it into my notebook. It must fit in the place of my old one.

The bad new's
Get I any help here in this forum, no. It seems that Camil was the only one who can handle Insyde bios changes and he's gone since 2013. Also the side information in case of WiFi questions left without any answers. This forum, in case of Insyde bios, ends as a file server for old solutions from good members they are gone a long time ago.

If I think over my problem with old and to renew WiFi card, the work, the search, bios updates and recovery, the risk for a brick and so on, brought me to the solution, that it is better to buy a new usb wifi card/stick. No bios changes, no search with open ends to the internet, no problems with open a notebook, no extra bugs for antenna and pci cards, and the best, the wifi usb stick is cheeper as the whole new solution.

Last but not leased, what is a Bios Mod Forum good for, with no answers, without specialist's and people that are firm in bios problems and such questions?

I hope, that the good guys find their way back in to this forum to answer the users questions.
