[REQUEST] Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga S1 (GQETxxWW) Whitelist Removal
#41
(09-15-2014, 08:59 AM)aicragleon Wrote: It is a no go on the m.2 BCM94352Z. It is keyed differently (different notch) than the port on the Thinkpad yoga. I guess it was a rookie mistake on my part. Maybe it is time for a usb wifi dongle until a whitelist removed bios comes out. Maybe the Asus USB-AC51 would be nice until tthen. This is mainly to run in OS X which of course does not have any compatibility with wifi cards by intel. I have the AC version of 7260 in mine, but it is as good as useless in OS X.

Hi, I was wondering if you have removed the whitelist. I really need to replace the wifi card.

Thanks

There not a Bios Backup into result file !?!?
Your laptop has an AMD CPU ?
if so You have to use Original tool WinPlash to get a
Bios Backup !
And use thi tool too, run It as Admin and upload the result :

https://app.box.com/s/n0pd6fcig5j0lp9acgpb

and at last try this way :

Use this tool from Windows, rename this folder as FPT and copy It in C:\
Then open a Comand Prompt with Administrator rights and run this comand :

FPTw -d bios.bin -bios

It will read and bcakup your bios
let me know

Hi,
thansk for your efforts.
Tried the bootable usb and had an error 201 : [FPT.EXE] cannot be run on the current platform. Please contact your vendor.

I tried to disable everything related to security in bios but nothing went in.

Hi,
I will try tomorrow and surely donate if it works.

I have another question. If it works, do you know a way to change my network card id so it's whitelist approved and I could benefit of future bios updates ?
