Hi! Finally back with all the required material.
I couldn't manage to software flash my X1 (20BS) BIOS

So I opened it :
I found only one chip that seems to qualify for a bios chip : I can read 25Q128A 13ECO G0 CHN
The CH341A programmer seems to detect a ST M25P10A chip with only 128KB/1MB which I think is a wrong value...

I tried to read and save the BIOS using a 25Q128 profile to get a 16MB bin file which I uploaded here :
http://rghost.net/8lN46y6b4

Is that file usable for you guys?
If it is, could you please remove the whitelist from that file? And unlock hidden bios features if you can?

Thanks for your help Smile

Hi! Any help about the bios version that I uploaded?
Would you be able to exploit it?

Thanks!

Thanks!

So my computer is running 1.10 BIOS version : this is the one that I tried to save and upload.

If you can tell me that my uploaded BIOS file is valid, then I can start flashing other bin files Smile

It's a .rar file so You have to decompress It and get the file into . . .

Firmware_25Q128A_13ECO_G0_CHN-EON.bin.patched

rename like You prefer and write into Eeprom Chip !
Let me know

Ow, sorry about that, I didn't think it could be so much compressed! I get a 16MB file afterall

One last thing before I flash :
I couldn't find the exact reference and brand for my 25Q128A chip, so I used the EON EN25Q128 profile to read and backup my bios.
Both chips are supposed to be the same size, but maybe its risky to use a wrong chip profile? What do you think?

EDIT : http://gd2.alicdn.com/bao/uploaded/i2/TB...00x600.jpg
this is exactly the chip on my motherboard : no branding??

Hi at all,

i would like to request a whitelist removal as i would like to upgrade my INTEL 7265NGW to an INTEL 8265NGW WIFI Card. The new card should arrive within a few days.

I hope that the informations i provide are sufficient:

1. Newest BIOS (1.26):   https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/de/de/produ...s/DS101953

Note: I am on BIOS 1.25. Maybe it will be easier if its an upgrade??

2. Current PCI ID:  PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_095B&SUBSYS_52108086&REV_59

I hope that someone can help me. If you need anything else,  i will try an provide it.

Thank you!

PS: I know that this is not the right thread, but is it possible to enable nvme SSDs on this notebook?
