Yes, we've both seen that and you already tried renaming and I gave you actual X550JK.bin file too. Well, I don't think either of us mentioned X550JK.303, try it out. That is the "Standard" name of the BIOS, from the DMI info, not a recovery name

I think PhoenixTool is just guessing based on usual known formats and BIOS names along with the DMI info, giving you best case scenario things to try when you're out of options, latest version 2.73 gives same
Sorry, I forgot to reply when you asked about programmer being valid for Phoenix BIOS, that does not matter BIOS type, programmer write data only it doesn't care what BIOS type it's writing, it will even write non-BIOS data to your BIOS chip if you want Big Grin

It's all made in China, so fake same as real anyway in most instances (Some even made in same factory) Big Grin

ON the EZP2010 and EZP2013, I think they are the same, except 2013 comes with additional hardware and probably made more recently. You don't need "The best" all you need is either cheapest or quickest depending on your wishes. I mean the $2.50 CH341A + $3.50 cable works just as good as a $25 kit, so the only reason to pick something more expensive is either faster shipping or you just wanted better overall package contents, or in some rare cases you may need to find a certain more expensive flasher to be compatible with some random/rarely used flash rom.

Yes, that guide applies, you need to use a .rom or .bin BIOS, that is 2KB smaller than the stock BIOS (So, yes, I think the file you linked is that)

Be sure, before you write anything to the chip that you get a verified and valid backup made, or you will loose your board specific details (UUID, Serial, DTS Key, LAN MAC ID)
Run read, then verify, once it says "Chip/Buffer match" then that is verified, click save and then open that file in hex editor and make sure it's valid BIOS and not all FF's
If it is all FF's, that's verified invalid blank and you need to use another software version or CHIP ID and try again until you get verified and valid backup)
