please help hp 3010 mt

Hi
hp 3010 pro micro tower
cpu Intel dual core E5300 @2.6ghz
gpu ATI radeon hd4600 series 1gb (RV730)
bios American Megatrends inc (AMI) 5.17
mobo Pegatron corporation 2A94h 1.02

i have overclocked my gpu and i am currently looking to unlock my bios to overclock my cpu im not sure if this can be done however some sites say is not possible but others have successfully overclocked their cpu from 2.6ghz to 3.6ghz (online not sure how true it is) but if i can get this done or even achieve anthing better it will be great im running a multi computing platform and this machine needs to catch up to the rest.

i did update the bios once but it did not unlock any extra features is it that my board has none?

i have tried a range of overclocking software which work on my other systems but this system is seriously locked i cannot even control the cpu fan

Hi,

I have HP 3010 Pro SFF (CPU-Z reports same motherboard with chipset G45/G43 rev. A3).
I was overclocking E5300 in it with CPUFSB_2_2_134_98
It was my command line settings for auto applying setting while booting:

C:\setfsb_2_2_134_98\setfsb.exe -s235 -cg[CV193CPAG] --q

Which means clock generator setting is CV193CPAG ( I think it was different model on the motherboard, but this setting was working)
And FSB setting was boosted from default 200 Mhz to 235 Mhz which means E5300 was running at ~3.066Ghz
Everything above 240Mhz was instant crash ...

Worth to mention the chipset officially supports only DDR3 800/1066 memories and I was using DDR3 1333Mhz so they were bottling somewhat under-clocked. And I think it was them who blocked me from more overclocking, because with only one memory stick I was able to reach FSB=245Mhz AFAIR. Perhaps DDR3 1600Mhz would give this CPU more headroom to overclock but it is definitely not worth the money ;p

P.S. I'm currently using this PC with Xeon E5450, CPUFSB is also working with this CPU, but I was only able to push it only few MHz beyond stock settings, so it is not worth the effort ...
