Need help to unlock and install ami bios MECHREVO Deep Sea Titan X1
#1
I have an ami bios and I can not unlock the hidden options, nor even install, I get an error warning 18, could someone help me, I need this to change the video output of the intel notebook to nvidia.

Error 18, what program gives you this? Please dump your BIOS region via FPT, then I can unlock for you
You will need to first find ME FW version, if not shown on the BIOS main page, download HWINFO64 and in the large window, on the left expand motherboard section and find ME Firmware. Then from this page, download the matching ME System Tools package.
https://www.win-raid.com/t596f39-Intel-M...Tools.html

Inside you will find flash programming tool folder, and then inside that a Windows/Win32 folder. Select that win/win32 folder, hold shift and press right click, choose open command window here (Not power shell), and then run the command below, zip the file created and upload for me to modify

FPTw.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin

If you plan to play with display settings, please order a flash programmer + SOIC8 test clip cable, in case you need to recover. Or practice this method for blind recovery (use your backup BIOS region file as recovery source, or you will loose your serial, UUID etc)

Thanks for dump, I will check it out and mod if I can. You didn't answer any my question about your error?
* Pre-post edit - this is not your FPT dump, this is stock BIOS you linked again. Please dump your BIOS region as I mentioned above.

If you've already flashed in this version of the BIOS, your ME FW is 11.7.0.1261, so you need Intel ME System Tools V11 package at the link I gave in post #2. Download that package, and follow my instructions on post #2 on how to get BIOS dump using FPTw.exe

Please also, within that ME System Tools Package, select the ME Info folder, hold shift and press right click, choose open command window here and enter following command and show me image of the bottom of the report >> MEInfoWin.exe

This is to check to make sure Boot Guard is not enabled at FPF side (Left side, bottom of report, Measured and Verified Boot) If those enabled on left/FPF side then Boot Guard is enabled and burned into the PCH Chipset and you cannot modify BIOS or it will brick. So we have to check that before anything!

As for the BIOS Unlock, yes, I checked BIOS already and I can unlock this BIOS fully for you.

I thank you, thank you very much, you think that with the hidden options I could have success and change the video output from intel to nvidia, or think it is not possible, I know there is this hidden option in bios, but my system is muxless I think, this modified bios file could be installed with a .bat file? kkk sorry, but I'm really noob with bios

You're welcome! I am making out a guide for many similar models right now, then users can dump BIOS and apply the mod themselves, hopefully will have time to get it posted soon!

I am not sure if that is possible or not, some users tried with other similar models and it didn't work, but may not mean this model it wont work? Here is there blind recovery method if you need it, to recover from blank screen. Practice this blind flash method a few times so you are familiar with it using stock BIOS as recovery source, so you can tell it flashed back to stock from mod, before you try disabling anything.

See these two posts for info

I do see Muxless is the only available option (@ Advanced 2 >> Switchable Graphics), and I'd assume you need Muxed, but I'm not real familiar with how all that works. In Chipset >> System Agent >> Graphics Config you can change a lot of the related settings like primary display, PCIE card used, primary PCIE, disable internal graphics etc

You could install with batch file, but it's not good practice to do, because this stock package can call FPT to be used instead of AFU, and then you can loose serial, UUID and LAN MAC ID too if not done carefully (ie with your own batch, using AFU only)

I suggest using FPT with the command below, from windows (Do not flash stock BIOS this way, only your dump or your dump modified)

FPTw.exe -bios -f filename.bin

Here is your modified BIOS files. Use only the "modbiosreg.bin" (6MB) with the FPT command above/below, you can use full 8MB BIOS if you wanted, but it's not good habit to get into.
So your command will be exactly as below
http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?fil...8343196117

FPTw.exe -bios -f modbiosreg.bin

Ohh, and about the Intel Boot Guard checking, no need I think, it should be disabled since they have BIOS Lock disabled by default in this BIOS and fully unlocked FD too. Due to those things, I doubt they would enable Boot Guard anyway but leave all that other security open/unlocked and disabled

When I open FPT, nothing happens, I press any key and it closes, and there is no menu to open with CMD, what should I do, use AFUWIN?
