Dell dimension e310/3100 bios dv051aO4

Yeah it's a dinosaur, I saw a hack on here to upgrade the processor. But I wondered if someone could hack anymore into it. More ram or maybe give the onboard graphics more ram to share? Oh don't know if it's related but my bios sees 4 gigs of RAM but the OS only sees 3gig.(yes it is a 64 bit OS) id like to give that lost gig of ram to the graphics if I could.

This motherboard is base on 915G chipset with 32bit's PAE. So it can't address memory above 4GB.
Open Device Manager, click View at the top of the Device Manager window, click Resources by type, and then select Memory. This should give you an output similar to the picture shown below

Resize such window to show all information. Make and post a screenshot of it.

I use linux Sad . But I have an xp disc around. I'll install it tonight and post one. thanks for the quick response by the way!

Also I don't know if it's much interest to you but I have demension 8300 that I found at the recycling center. Ive only turned it on once to see if it boots up. Which it did.

Sorry I got sidetracked I get that pic up tonight. Do you know if it's possible to switch the raid1 to raid0? I d rather have raid0

In your system memory above 0xC0000000 address is used by internal devices. So only 3072 Mb are available. It can't be changed by any BIOS patches.
