Hello
I'm a proud owner of a brandnew ASUS A15 (AMD 4800H / RTX2060).
The notebook came with 8GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22, which I want to replace with a 16GB 3200MHz CL16 kit from Crucial.
Long story short, it doens't work. There is no XMP/AMP/D.O.P.C./whatever option... there is pretty much no option besides time and date.
My new RAM runs (crawls) on 2666MHz CL20.
Is there any hidden option in the 304 Bios to enable XMP? The Bios is pretty much the same as the ASUS-TUF-Gaming-FX505DU Bios.

I am also a happy owner of a TUF A15 (FA506IV) Laptop, and would also like to upgrade to faster RAM, I just updated to the newest BIOS Version (308) but apparently it's just to improve system stability, they have not added anything regarding RAM.
It would be very helpful if there is an option to enable XMP. (also looking forward to those crucial ballistic modules with somewhat tight timings)
In other words, BUMP so that this post gets more attention.
Regards
EDIT: added zip file containing lastest BIOS (Version 308)

Hello,
I'm in the same situation. I bought the Crucial RAM (2x16GB) and cannot use the CL16 timing nor the higher frequency.
And i have another problem. With BIOS version 304 atleast my new WiFi card was working, i upgraded to an Intel ax200 (WiFi 6). But since v308 exists windows forces me to upgrade the BIOS all the time. So it is not possible to remain on the older 304 version. So a modded 309 version should be perfect i think.
Nice would be enabling of XMP and to check, why the WiFi card does not work, maybe Asus began to whitelist the cards?
Me again,
i tested the 309 yesterday, the WiFi card is kinda working again, just slow as [censored].
Is it possible to see what changed between 304 and 309?
BR

Unless you are able to look inside the files, it's hard to see what changed. In the changelog they only say "improve system stability" :/
Hope this gets more attention.
Best Regards

I am also waiting for something like this to happen. As I also bought 3200MHz xmp memories unknowingly, and they are running at 2667 JEDEC 1.2V.

I can tell you definitely that there no features such as axmp or docp in the amd laptop platform. As far as i know , you can only overclocking memory under AMD CBS menu ,below is a sample for overclock memory to 3000mhz on the FX505DU model. https://239239.blogspot.com/2020/11/fx505ducbs.html
