[REQUEST] dell latitude e6400: computrace remove

i want to remove computrace from my laptops bios.........
can some help me...... i bought this laptop at craigslist........ and now computrace erase all my data... i dont know if its stolen? what can i do???
any help????

Oh boy, this doesn't look legitamite at all. In any event, Iw ould first head to the support page for your laptop and see if they are hosting any versions of the BIOS without this feature.

Actually , this is enabled by the OEM at the factory in order to help the user if the laptop is stolen

Its removable Big Grin , i shall do this when i get home this afternoon (just going out the door now!)

Im kind of in the same boat. But my ex Gf bought me the laptop now that we split up all at once that dam comptrace hit me. I got Dell latitude E6410. Did you make that Bios Mod to remove that computrace. Please tell me you did.
