Check mxm-upgrade, they have the card at stock. The upgrade site from eurocom would be an option too, but I don't know whether they have them atm.

Hey The Wiz..

Any news on that documentation for the new features yet? :-)

You were talking about a pdf file or something, with all features described...

Hi guys,

There will be new information coming out. I have been extremely tied up this week and am a bit behind on all the BIOSes running aloof. I'll keep you posted.

Hi Thewiz,

I flashed the bios of my m17x r2 to your mod last week, but since then I have problems with hibernate.

When I restart from hibernate, I get a critical error. I get the question if I want to start in safe mode, and back in Win7 I get a message that the system has recovered from a critical error (bluescreen, which I never see because the screen turns black as soon as I put it into hibernate).

Event viewer gives me these details:

Any ideas how to fix this? I really love that you unlocked all options in Bios, so it would be quite a bummer if I had to roll back to Dell's A10.

kind regards,
T.

ps it's a 520m cpu with 5870 gpu & 4g ram.

Have you tried to go back to the original A10 BIOS and see if this fixes the issue ?

If the issue persists with the original A10 BIOS, you should take a look at your Windows installation. My Win7 works perfectly with Hibernate and the modded A10 BIOS.
