Hello!
We are trying to get a WPEA-127N (mini-pcie) WiFi NIC to work in our Lenovo X220i laptop. We tried the modified BIOS by Camilo, but the NIC is still not recognized (nothing in lspci in Linux). Here's the link to the BIOS we used: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2bjzlcw9kwm018a
That BIOS *does* make the NIC work in the 1/2 height mini-pcie slot,
but since our NIC is full height, it is not a long-term solution for us
(we are just holding it in with tape for temporary testing).
I know next to nothing about modding BIOSs: Is what I am looking for a reasonable thing, or is it beyond the scope of normal BIOS mods?
Thanks,
Ben
