Unlock request: FOXCONN M61PMV
#11
VortexHD may try modify file yourself. Download programm Modbin6 open bios file and edit Setup screen.

For unlock hardware virtualization do it menu CPU Feature to visible, by switch from Disabled to Normal. Then check state option Virtualization.

And same for CPU Voltage control which have name  - NPT Vid control in menu Fox Intelligent. Save as (press F4) new bios file.

Before flashing а new file you must understand that this modified file was not checked in manufacturer's labs.

Ok so good news the new bios works and i have enabled Virtualization, CPU Stepping and Quick power on however cpu voltage control is still not displayed.

hey what kind of cpu are you trying to change voltage on some cpus dont allow you to change voltage cause multiplier is locked idk if that might be your issue i had no voltage control and had to just let it auto set and overclock through ntune i believe ntune supports your chipset and in my expereience is pretty stable on the mcp61 chipset but yeah i only seen voltage control after switching to a black edition phenom ii x3 when i use cpus that are non black edition or dont have a method to unlock multiplier i never get voltage settings especially on older bios and as for new ones im not too familiar with them but those voltage settings show up if the cpu supports them sometimes in certain cases only if cpu supports them

In CPU-Z report with this prosessor:
FID/VID Control yes
FID range 5.3x - 10.5x
Max VID 1.250 V
# of P-States 2
P-State FID 0x5 - VID 0x18 - IDD 25 (10.50x - 1.250 V)
P-State FID 0x105 - VID 0x28 - IDD 19 (5.25x - 1.050 V)

What it exactly means ?

aha theres your issue right there id instead use a black edition cpu and you should get voltages i just got done using the same cpu and i can say without a doubt theres no way to unlock multiplier or change voltages i have tried everything from delidding to etc even though options where there and unhidden it doesnt care it just wont show voltages or clock speed even after i changed my bios from award to ami it wouldnt even show my fsb until i put new cpu in but if you use ntune that uses the nforce chipset you can overclock it just turn memory down to lowest speed and change timings manually in ntune..... its just the cpu being consumer model any black edition should and will show voltage it will come up as npt voltage etc i just had same issue and i update microcodes instead and bought a cheap phenom ii and it worked great and have ful voltage and multiplier control .... you have to otherwise somehow unlock that cpus multiplier which is usually only done with boards that are newer that have that ability or some sort of software bypass or hardware if i were smart enough id probably attempt but still good cpu at moment ............ and those power states are its pre installed voltage control to change that voltage etc youd have to bypass those through windows somehow if you get an unlocked black edition phenom or athlon then youll get voltages id bet ...i achieved a clock of 2.4 ghz turning memory down to slowest i could setting it to manual in bios then going into ntune when in windows and changing fsb speed by increments of 2 until i got too 228mhz reference clock and it ran stable and with no issues for a long time til i got my new cpu

and the fid vid control is the automatic control of the pc for the multiplier and the power states of the cpu the fid range is the range of the multiplier when used in different power states say windows idles goes to sleep the cpu uses power state of 5.3x to acheive slower clock speed to save power then when you launch apps again it will change to 10.5 x to compensate for a slow cpu and get it moving and in gear you can set min power saving or etc in power management it will always run with highest multiplier then you turn down ram speed and etc to make sure you dont overclock your ram instead of cpu as thats what will happen if ram is at its highest speed it will go over ..... the max vid is the max voltage that the cpu supports it doesnt have any controller for voltages higher which means you have to deal with it find a way around or overclock it as is and always turn down ram speed when overclocking at least a bit in the case of the the locked voltage and multiplier with this cpu turn down ram speed alot hopefully allowing the cpu to use  abit over the voltage it needs and then pushing up the clock speed and changing ram timings til its stable lol if your feeling daring hahah go into npt voltages and etc in modbin and try to set auto to not selectable and set the voltage you want to selectable all the rest non selectable see if it forces to cpu to use the voltage thats about alli can think of lollol
