Hi There
Running W7 64bit on a Slimline 7620nl comp.
I have changed the proc. to an AMD Athlon64x2 4850e type,did a mod with 3.0.4. bios with slic2.1 and other cpucode and agesacpu.bin.(from the 5.0.4. bios)

Its boots correctly,see's the new Amd proc.But by starting win7 the pc go's power down.By trying new install i get the blue screen saying incompatible bios because its acpi compilant.

someone any idea?

I guess replaced new CPU doesn't accept the mainboard.
all I know that sometimes, it happen it caused by fsb clock match between cpu, memory, motherboard.
that means, bios accept new cpu and turn on properly, but it crash and blue screen, like as acpi something.

I advise to you that you can put original cpu with mods, and check fsb clock.
