Hello, with great interest i found and read this topic.
Some explanation first. I want to upgrade my HP 9630eb with one or two SSD's, to replace the traditional 5400RPM drive.

Therefore it would be nice to have Intel AHCI Rom module 1.20e integrated.
We're talking about a ICH8 chipset as far as i know. the SATA controller has this hardware ID: VEN_8086&DEV_2829

I got the latest BIOS package version F5A http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48001-48500/sp48024.exe
Which contains 30CCF5A.wph

I'll be glad to receive some help.
