AHCI mod for MSI P35 NEO

can anyone here do a mod to enable ahci on a p35 neo. the option is missing but seems to be supported.

I'm in the same situation actually.
I upgraded to the latest bios of that same Motherboard, and don't have AHCI support.

My OS is Linux Ubuntu Studio.
Really need some workaround or patch, if anyone could help me out.

Hmm, found a modded bios:

But it's a german forum, hopefully the bios is not in German, but English...
Am I mad enough to try or not? Would it be reliable?
