AMI BIOS - TYAN MBs

Hello,

I have used server main board from Tyan with AMI bios for a long time. Always I have used the tool AMI BCP v3.37 to edit the logo splash screen and to change the “to be field by OEM” to my Brand name.
But from six months this tool can´t open the BIOS files (.ROM).

Have some way to unlock the .rom file to make this new BIOS editable with the BCP v3.37? Have other editor to do this? Or binary editor to edit and or unlock rom files?

Because your BIOS is 4MB in size AMIBCP won't be able to open it. But if you wanted to change your splashscreen you could use MMTOOL.

Thank you for reply.
I try to use a MMTOOL v3.19, 3.22 and 3.12. All versions can´t open any BIOS ROM files from TYAN. The error: Error Loading ROM Image (1007FFh)

Have other way to try? If change the ROM with a hex/bin editor, can work?

Probably not, Tyan BIOSes are a newer format when put in the 4MB image.
