ASUS P5E Intel Option Request

I'm desperate. I tried and fail to install 6 different SATA add on cards to my ASUS P5E system bios 1201. After much research I found the problem lies in the ROM version of the ICH9R. Current version is 7.5.0.1017 which is known to have bug related to its compatibility with add-on cards. I am seeking help to have someone assist me to take the 1201 bios and upgrade the Intel ROM to ver 8.7.0.1007. While I think other version such as 8.9.0.1023 up to 10.5.1.1046 may work, I'm unsure. I'm out of motherboard ports and loosing my credibility with NewEgg as I am returning card after card. 1201 Bios attached
