Hey there,

Now that I think of it the ABIT BIOS may have only worked with the Phenom stuff, not to sure why it wouldn't with the semprons but it is a miracle it boots Phenoms without the AGESA V3.

Anyways, try putitng a spare chip to work using this BIOS flashed cleanly to it. If we shuffle around with some different manufacturer BIOSes we may find one that can post and then be tweaked for the board.

I have 5 of these boards. I have tried an Athlon Black box edition 7850+ and I got a blank screen. (AM2+), so i am trying to get it working with my board.

Will this hack bios work with the 7850 be?

Hi ShqTth,

Their isn't conclusive research to determine whether or not the BIOS will be successful. I hope to run a battery of tests wit Teurastaja until we find a solution. Please postpone any flashing until we have a confirmed solution.

If you have 5 of these boards does that mean you can easily recover? I can send testing BIOS roms to you if you wish to procceed.

I usually hot flash the bios, if a bios failure. I have done this on a nf7 abit board before. The flash software is still the same.

Sorry for the late reply. I had email notifications turned off for this topic, and haven't checked ni w while.

Any status update on the bios?

I don't think the bios is removable on the boards last time i checked. But when I have a chance I will post back.
