Thumbs Up
Hello everyone!

I have been looking for Clocking possibilities since I bought this computer (which I regret Dodgy ).

Some information if it's useful.

Motherboard: Acer RS780HVF (780g chipset)
CPU: AMD Phenom 9550 @ 2.2Ghz
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit
8GB ram

Just ask if you need more information or if this unlock have already been done!

Current bios I am using is this R01-B3 which I upgraded hours ago from R01-B1. I could not find any clocking things from both of them.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Well that sure is interesting.

Q: But can you overclock with that bios?
A: No?

If yes, then please tell me how because I can't see any fsb changing options there, or any usual OC stuff.

Sorry , no options there at all. From experience we have found that Award bioses have features there but hidden;/disabled where as AMI bioses have the features completely removed from them!

Sorry about the downtime too , our host was updating the server and doing some major maintenance!. All is well now Big Grin

Oh Sad

Is there any *secure* way to change from AMI to Award bios?

no it cannot be done reliably and it has a 5% success rate Tongue
