I was trying to update management engine.but I have come across with the message saying "Error 8719: Firmware update cannot be initiated because Local Firmware update is disabled"
latest bios is installed and no more supported
its an IBX 1.5mb version 6.0.31.1208
ME 6 1.5MB v6.2.50.1062 is available
and installed driver version on system is v6.2.50.1050 (ME software version is 6.2.50.1062)
So i have started trying different tools to find a way if i can see any setup entry,or if i can manage to update the modules in order to fix the problem all together while end up with newer roms
like Broadcom BCM57xx NetXtreme PXE LAN ROM,microcodes,ahci rom,vbios..etc
hwinfo says bios is UEFI capable,not active but roms are not so its best to keep it that way
tools i have tried; EzH2O v2.10.3 not showing information PhoenixTool v2.73 is a mess
ubu tool not recognizing bios files (fd,rom), UEFIT tool's FIT panel is not clickable
rom dump attempts ends up with errors like; Error 26: the host cpu does not have read access to the target flash area.To enable read access for this operation you must modify the descriptor settings to give host access to this region
bios files includes FLASHIT.EXE,MEInfo.exe,SPI.EXE,SPROM.EXE,Update.BAT in dos folder and PEW71130.exe in windows folder. so there is a way around the blocks i am guessing
can someone update the modules,is it possible?
