Acer aspire 5100 cpu upgrade

hi

i have an Acer aspire 5100 notebook with a 2.0ghz amd turion single core cpu , now i also have an AMD 2.2 dual core turion cpu TMRM74DAM22GG but all i get is a blank screen.

I've just update the bios to the last version.

isn't the 2.2 supported? if not can the BIOS be adapted to allow this? and Also can the ACER boot logo be changed :-)
