Hello all I am seeking a little friendly help if you all would be so kind ... I recently had a friend purchase an asus M3A78-em motherboard from tigerdirect and since installed in it his HP machine ... replacing the old board that obviously had an HP bios SLIC in the board ... however not thinking ( maybe I need that dunce cap as well LOL ) I installed an OEM HP windows XP that he had with the original system ... however since its now as asus board as you can all guess obviously it will not see it as OEM ... and therefore will want me to reinstall or correct the key that came with the OEM ... can anyone please post the working bios mod with instructions as I am new to flashing a BIOS on a motherboard that will work for HP and an XP install on this motherboard ? I would seriously be most freatful

I am trying to install a modded bios that will allow installed OEM HP XP PRO to work with its OEM install KEY ... please help

No prolem, nice posting job. I moded the bios so that XP activation or Wwindows 7 activation will work with proper legit HP materials. Please flash at own risk and consider donating to help us run the forum, every penny count.

Oh, and to flash, its the same as flashing any other motherboard. Simply use the flash tool provided on the ASUS download page.
