Asus P5GD2-TMX/S

I was gifted the above mentioned BIOS and I found out, it is an OEM and the BIOS is from the middle of the last decade. So maybe there is something to unlock, to add or just give it a little more "modernity". Can anyone give it a look and tell me what is in there and wich ROM's we can update? Although there is an option for the FullScreenLogo there is no spash shown during bootup. I attached the newest BIOS I could find on web. It is revision 0304 dated 04/21/2006. Thanks so far...

Sorry mate but theres not a lot here. Two or three hidden settings which are useless and I cant even find a more up to date version of the option roms!

Seeing as it was a gift do you want to try finding a retail bios/motherboard that could possibly be a match to your OEM one? (at your own risk of course)

Hey peopz, I now tested all the other Asus P5GD2-BIOS'es and none gave me a satisfactionary result...
I hope I can find any other OEM-like mobo! Maybe someone can help?

Which in conclusion, means you may want to give a retail flash attempt if you are able to recover using thisBiostar version:

1st: these are the correct chipset information
2nd: this is sadly not exact the look of the /S -version, the Northbridge is turned 45° and the southebridge is also cooled...
3rd: I tried this Biostar-BIOS wich flashed without forcing or anything, it just accepted the platform but it disables the IDE as the generic TMX-BIOS does and it limits the USB to 1.1...

I now detached all the modules and will try to use the IDE- and PCI (USB?)-modules of the original...

wish me luck, it'll maybe take me 2 or 3 weeks or so, I got much to do @work...
