I'm guessing that the recently discovered key he's talking about is the leaked Lenevo key for Windows 7 Ultimate. Unfotunatly the key has been blacklisted by Microsoft a day or two ago. So no Windows Updates I guess. Still, until a new key is leaked, we can still use it to install 7.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I tried this BIOS modification as well and it works fine. Under both Vista and 7 I was able to activate my system without any problems.

Yeys , i found the leaked key , and yes it HAS been blacklisted , o r at least will be. People who can still succesfully activate be warned that windows updates will be released to block this!

However , as i put in my announcement , its all just one big game of cat and mouse , hackers will find another way , and with the public release of windows 7 , all the OEM SLP Keys and Certs will be found! Just Like Vista Big Grin
