Hello Rayman, jut wanted to say Thank You very much ! , thanks to your mod , i've a Nvme (PNY) on a pcie adaptor runing as main drive on my P8Z68.

I know i'm not having the full performance i could get on a modern mb , but i wanted to have a try on my current system, and found your contribution and it worked perfectly.

Hi there! I'm new here at the forum, spent some time here at these thread, but didn't find a tutorial of how to flash this bios properly. I found some videos teaching how to do it, but using files with .CAP extension and this one avaliable here has .ROM extension.
Can someone point me out some tutorial to do it the right way? Thx in advance.

Well... I think this thread is lost in time, nobody is discussing about this motherboard nowadays... so I decided to put my motherboard in risk and through EZ Flash I flashed my bios with the modified version avaliable here.
EZ flash recognized the .rom bios normaly, so for those like me that have this doubt, yes, you do not have to have a .cap bios file.

But something is strange... ME version does not match the version you guys said should be. I'm not with my PC here right now, but I think the version is 8.0.x.x.x and it should be 8.1.x.x.x right?

It seems that bios stays the same even the flash process being 100% ok.
