i have one new Asus z77 a MB with broken BIOS. I cant find bin file. On the Asus site have only CAp file. I flash bios with promator. If someone can help pls?

Yes It needs .cap file to Recovery Bios !
Download Bios file extract Original Bios .cap file and rename It as Z77ST.CAP and
put It into USB Fat32 Formatted Stick !

It's an example for v.2104 :

Follow these instructions to use the USB BIOS Flashback feature.


1. Download the 2104 BIOS from Asus website.
2. Format a USB pendrive to FAT32.
3. Extract the BIOS file and rename the file to Z77ST.CAP.
4. Put the BIOS file on your USB pendrive.
5. Connect the USB pendrive to the USB 3.0 port that's not next to the LAN port.
6. Press the USB BIOS Flashback button for three seconds until the LED begins to blink, then release.
7. Wait until the LED stops blinking.
8. Power on your system.

I can say that extension file is relative as .Bin and .Rom are the same, but
.whp has an header added, so .cap too !!!
But We can convert them easely !

Ok my friend now I understand !!!
You have to make a FULL_DUMP of your Eeprom(s) and then I will prepare on It the
Virgin Bios replaced and upload the Rebuilded file !
Bios as It is We cannot use to write into Eeprom !

I can upload only original Asus BIOS file from Asus site . Can u tell me wher to upload(but i think better u download from http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z77A/He..._Download/
I have SEEprog and EZP 2010 programator.

You cannot write directly .cap file into Eeprom !
So You have before read his contains an modify It replacing
Bios Region chunk !
Use Rghost and Sendspace servers . . .

Hi friend,
this is original Bios and It is a Packed and compressed version including which I name
Virgin Bios = Region Bios !
But all file Whole is composed by many parts and W have use only onle !
So to make this work We need the FULL_DUMP from Eeprom = Laptop Firmware = FFS !!!
Without that file We cannot rewrite nothing as if You try to write this on Eeprom
You will lose te only chance to recover your laptop !
So read Eeprom 60 MegaBits = 8192 KB file size (It contains Descriptor Region -
ME Region - etc.) I cannot descibe all technichians parts . . .
I can say that We have to replace Bricked Bios Region with a Virgin Region Bios !
To do this job We need the FULL_DUMP !!! (read that Eeprom and upload file here) !
