Compal khlbx unlock?

Hi, I just flashed my laptop (khlb2) with this modded bios.. everything works fine except for 8GB RAM support (2 module of 4GB... here's is the model http://www.corsair.com/memory-by-product...t1066.html )..

Whit those dimm when I turn on the laptop it simply doesn't boot: no screen light, no boot screen, no hdd activity, nothing

Hi, I just updated the BIOS of my laptop (KHLB2) with this one: everything works fine except for 4GB dimm modul support.

When I turn on the laptop with my new 2*4B DDR3 module (here is the model: http://www.corsair.com/memory-by-product...t1066.html ) it doesn't boot up: no light on screen, no hdd acrivity, no boot screen, no loader, nothing.

Ive decided to update to modded bios and it works perfectly.
Disabling EIST allowed me to run my p8600 with 2.53 clock speed instead of 2.4 (using throttle stop).
Theres just one thing bothering me, even if i enable 1333 clock for memory theyre keep staying on 1066 basicly it doesnt make any difference wheter this option is disabled(default) or enabled.
Would really appreciate if some could say anything about that.

Hi All..

I just noticed (well, I just now need this info) that the modded bios is stripped of all info regarding make, model, manufacturer etc. .

all the stuff you usually get from wmic queries..

Any chance we can edit the bios to include this info again?
