This also works perfect for a Presario F579WM with the same BIOS. Although I used the 32bit Winphlash. Thank you!!!!

specs compaq f579wm 32 bit windows 7 shows 3gb ram. 1.75 Athlonx2. Stock everything except ram upgrade.

I have a f579wm and i cant get any wifi usb or network cards to work. I tried a hp g6033ea bios with modified whitelist (30D3F1F_SLIC_WL.wph)and it still does not allow the use of non-hp wireless adapters, on the plus side it didnt brick my laptop and can use the bios.
The link for this version is down. Does anyone still have this version they can reupload or upload to the repo?

WiFi refuses to work via pcie or USB dongle. Only internet on this thing is cat5. Thank you hp

I need same modded bios (F.20), flashed this one but doesnt work. Even I tried to mod by changing vendor and subsys for  wifi card that i have and nothing.
Any ideas?
