Installed without a hitch (bios), had to allow to overwrite same version.

I tried your 2.1 BIOS mod on my Mini9. Updated BIOS OK (not bricked) and was able to install Windows 7 Ultimate. But will not OEM activate. Checked BIOS with SLIC Dump Toolkit and it says that XSDT != PubKey with XSDT = "DELL QA09 . " & RSDT = "DELL Capell00". PubKey = "DELL QA09 " I don't think XSDT should have a "." in the string. That's probably why the mismatch & non-activation. Don't know if RSDT matters. I couldn't find the XDST table with RW-Everything, so can't verify if SLIC Dump Toolkit was reporting correctly. Do this make sense to you??? Could you release a new mod that fixes this???

Here's a discussion where XSDT == PubKey if present, doesn't with the period there.

Axiously await your return. I love Windows 7 on the mini. Did a full Ultimate install. Runs fine with aero with 1Gb memory & 16Gb SSD (6.5Gb left). I'll leave a sizable donation for your efforts!!!!

Have you had any feedback on this one yet??? Is there a tool I can use to verify this BIOS MOD w/o flashing it??? It's a pain to reflash with A03 & then this one to get around the same version number flash error (unless you know a way to circumvent that???)

I believe there is an extra command tag which you can add to overwrite the same version , however , im not sure what it is!

I didn't try the one posted here cause my questions weren't answered about whether or not there was any feedback on the bios mod. SO...... I found one here

that had feedback. I can report that it flashes fine & activates Win7.
