Foxconn N570SM2AA-8EKRS2H
#1
Hello,

MB: Foxconn N570SM2AA-8EKRS2H
Chipset: Nvidia 570SLI
Award Bios
4MB BIOS Chip

I'm looking for a Phenom support on this MB, any Phenom is welcome, since all I can use here is A64 X2 line.

Most of the original BIOS releases for this MB are for fixing "Bios Test Suit" from specifc processors. So I guess the last BIOS might be the best one.

And as far I know, some poeple tried to run the first Phenons on this board and they not even booted (for a Unknow Processor chance).

Thanks in advance.

Oh awesome!

Before I try it, wich Phenoms you added? Phenom or Phenom II?

Thanks again.

Edit: It's seems I lost the RAID software with this mod(yeah I use it, forgot to tell, sorry) but all the other things seems to be ok (except the Phenom itself, since I have to know wich class is supported now).

In theory , all Phenom I and II Big Grin

Sorry about the RAID , not quite sure what happened but il take another look at it once you can give the yes or no on whether the Phenom works! (No point messing around trying to figure out the RAID if the Phenom doesnt work Smile)

Hi there

I also have the same motherboard and looking to go to a higher processor. Could you let me know about this BIOS mod with regards to if I can install a socket AM3 Phenom II CPU (with backward compatibility to socket AM2). I would eventually like to replace my board and at least have an "up-to-date" CPU when doing so. Also, has the RAID loss issue been sorted out with this BIOS?

Thanks,

Marc

Hi all!

@1234s282: Can you please tell me if this modded BIOS have the PCI-E and PCI frequency option to lock?

The official N570SM2AA BIOS (i'm using the P48 one) does not have the option to lock the PCI-E and PCI frequency... Does this modded one have these options?

Thanks in advance,
"7DK"

Yes i saw it yesterday...

But the PCI frequency cant be locked at 33mhz... This BIOS doesn't have the option to lock it?

Is there anything that can be done to add it?

Thanks,
7DK

Hi 1234s282
I have tested the mod.
It runns fine, on a Amd 64 x2 @2 Ghz, but
The funktion of cool n quiet, dont work, and windows crashd at start up.

and i tested a Amd Phenom II (AM2+) 920, 4x 2,8 Ghz
and a Blck sreen, and no Boot.

Raid dont have tested.

Have can you mod the bios again ?
Thanks
