Thank you.
I added the chip organization parameter to the bios file. BIOS.wph
Did not change anything else. Gotta make sure the bios is flashable before modding.

I just tried your .wph file on Winphlash, but only in backup mode, and it didn't complaint Smile

Should i go ahead and try to flash it on Winphlash then? (sorry, just making sure i'm following correctly)

In any case i'm attaching the new Winphlash backup file, using yours as input, if you need to compare the two.

thanks

This file is about the same as 2 MB backup you attached. Except for the removed empty space of 1.5 MB.

Up to you. Don't know what's going to happen.

No Go.

Winphlash 1.7.16 returns:

"BIOS update failed! Image verification failed.
BIOS image checksum verification failed.
Error code: -104"

And Winphlash 1.7.37 returns:

"BIOS update failed! Failed to flash BIOS image:
BIOS is not flashable.
Error code: -104"

Sad

This error can be bypassed, but no guarantee another error won't appear.
If you want to try, share a download link for winphlash 1.7.16.

How to bypass? Edit the .ini?

I believe i downloaded it from here:
https://phoenix-winphlash.software.informer.com/download/

I'm not home right now, so i can't share the exact version of winphlash present on my hdd.

Thanks

No, the exe.
.zip   exe_winphlash_v1.7.16.0.zip (Size: 212.92 KB / Downloads: 1)
I disabled the following errors: -104, -109, -111, -120, -144.

different error now.

link to pic of the error. (could not insert image)

Starts normally but it crashes when is getting ready to flash your wph file.

The program crashed on the function that preserves DMI (serial) data. Could you check if "Update the BIOS and not DMI" option is ticked in WinPhlash options?

I changed to "Update the bios and not DMI" and  now it returns "Error code: -1"
