Fujitsu TEAMPOS 3600 unlock and CPU support
#1
Hi , someone can response this request? i have a Fujitsu TEAMPOS 3600 that cannot boot with a Core 2 Quad processor , when it tries to read the processor name it shuts off , if you put a compatible processor and you send the pc into S4 and swap the processor with the core 2 quad will work normally . If you shut down the pc it will not work again (same symptom that i mentioned first)

i give you a actual working backup of the bios , it cannot be downloaded from the web , no info page for this non common computer

Tried to update the microcode and no luck . The bios already have the C2Q's microcode

Post a screenshot with Mainboard tab of CPU-Z.
Explain exactly what happens when you try to boot with your Core 2 Quad processor.

Check this link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1...sp=sharing i left a video showing the behavior when a Quad Core is installed plus the CPU-Z motherboard Tab photo . Basically when the BIOS tries to get the "CPU Brand Name" string the PC shuts down

PD: can you notify to the admins the problem with the Reply/New Thread tool? it doesn't display correctly and is very difficult write replies . And tried to send the video as attachments and the system didn't let me

Try to backup BIOS in native DOS:
awdflash backup.bin /pn /sy /e
or
awdflash firmware.bin backup.bin /pn /sy /e

Hi, what version of awdflash i should use? tried 899 and it doesn't backup anything , only does some beepings and closes, The main rom that i left in the post was backupped with FlashRom , i can confirm that it works because i did some mods into bios and flashed OK . That one that i left is a fresh one , the first backup that i did to this POS PC

Can you make a video of this process?
BTW: What's your compatible CPU?
