GA-EP35-DS3L- Intel/ Jmicron RAID controllers
#1
Hiya,
I've got a GA-EP35-DS3L, & I'm looking for updates to the RAID controller internal BIOS if anyone could oblige please.
I believe the Jmicron is either a JMB361 or JMB363 (Sorry, no more details), and the Intel is the standard P35 express.

Current BIOS is here:
http://oldforum.gigabyte.de/forumdownloa...35DS3L.zip

Not worried about SLIC, I'm just trying to get Linux to play nice with the board Sad

Cheers

Massive thanks, will try that (Can't find the button to add rep :S )
I'm sure there ought to be a Jmicron ROM controlling the integrated IDE chip, but you can't find one, and I can't either from a small poke with cbrom, but I don't claim to know anything about this....
I've found a JMB368 chip on the board, but no firmware in the BIOS.

There is NO JMicron Orom in that BIOS, as for a JMicron Chip on the MB, I have no idea as I don't have that MB.
Try googling the GA-EP35-DS3l and see what Gigabyte or others with that same MB say about it.
PS
That JMB363 is a PCI Express and PATA Controller:
http://www.jmicron.com/JMB368.html
And you might have to Flash that chips Firmware directly to the Chip:
