No problem, if you are mainly interested in using SLi with this board, I recommend SLiPatch.com. This method works with unmodified BIOS, and works with driver versions up to the latest 26X.XX Beta and WHQL nVidia drivers.

Also, there's an even newer BIOS for this board. Gigabyte X48-DQ6 F8i. This update resolves some issues with certain SSD controllers, as well as exposes a few new RAID features.

I have not modified the above file for SLi support or SLIC2.1 support. If you're interested, please send me a PM and I'd be happy to do so, as well as test.
