Current Motherboard (Gigabyte GA-880GA-UD3H rev 2.0) supports officially up to phenom ii x6 1100t processors.
There was a beta bios update that gigabyte was developing to support the FX processors but they dropped it and removed it from the official bios download section
Rev 3.x supports FX. The difference has something to do with the AM3 socket (white on 2.x , black on 3.x) though i cannot specify the difference between them.
Is it possible to modify the beta bios or an existing stable one, to support the 8350 FX processor?
