Gigabyte GA-P43T-ES3G rev 1.3 BIOS mod for memory support

Hi All,

I get PC with motherboard GA-P43T-ES3G to upgrade it for one older lady. Equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E 7500 @ 2,93GHz and 2 x 2GB RAM modules KVR1333D3N9_2G - specs here https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KVR1333D3N9_2G.pdf. Currently on F08 BIOS which can be downloaded here https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-...rt-dl-bios.

For upgrade I have spare 2 x 4GB RAM modules  kcp313ns8/4 specs here https://www.kingston.com/en/memory/searc...313NS8%2F4, BIOS wont recognize them.

I tried F06, F07, F08 BIOS from Gigabyte support web and also modified F07 and F08 from this forum https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...A-775-mobo

Some of them wont even go to POST, some of them will boot to Windows 10 but BIOS recognize only old 2 x 2GB modules. Windows 10 if will boot recognize 12 GB, but only 3,5 GB usable, because of BIOS limitation - see attached pictures.

Is it possible to modify the BIOS to accept this new RAM, or have I to look for different RAM?

These DIMMs can't work with P43 chipset. Try to find 4GB DIMMs with eight chips on each side.
