You can always use the hardware programmer to recover.

Recomended: dump the BIOS region first, update the microcodes (how?) then flash back the updated BIOS region with FPT...

This method is more risky.

No, Lenovo use own algorithm of BIOS integrity check. Some HP devices use other algorithm.
