Just have tried to install XP on this laptop but i can't whenever i hit F6 to install third party driver, cause AHCI is enabled by the bios and there is no option to disable it
Is someone able to add this option to this bios, will be great

Many Thanks

Ok so there is no solution for XP now
I've tried with some slipstreamed version with different SATA AHCI driver
I've found one that works for the xp install but when i boot after the install, i see a BSOD
Perhaps i have to modify the registry with UBCD to have normal driver as xp is installed now
Thanks for your effort

I have found a string called ahci class ,,,,,,, i didn't notice this at the start as in most of bioses its called sata mode ,,,,,,, its a help string for a hidden option ,,,, i will unlock it today if i found its an option .
Thank you,
Ahmed

Thanks again.
I've found a modified version of XP SP3 called Atrium and then i was able to install XP and it runs now
But if you can unlock the bios perhaps it will work with a "genuine" XP

I`m so sorry , this wasn`t for your bios ........ it was a reply for another thread with the same request for another bios but i have missed this Smile
you can make sure that ahci is not in your bios by checking ypur bios strings for the ahci string using Phoenix bios editor and you will not find it Smile
