HP G42-415DX

I am trying to remove the Wi-Fi card whitelist form the BIOS of my HP G42-415DX notebook. I have downloaded the BIOS from HP and extracted its contents, however there is no .FD file to open with EZH20. The BIOS file appears to be 01444F27.BIN, which can not be opened by EZH20. The notebook is AMD based with an Insyde BIOS.

So i have go into this a little more:

- i am able to extract the BIOS image using the universal BIOS backup toolkit to download a 2MB image
- i used EzH20 to remove the whitelist
- i tried using the original Insyde Flash utility provided by HP, but it does not allow my to flash the modified bios
- i tried using DOS to flash using Insyde FLASHIT, but this method does not work either

other notes:
- this HP computer uses an odd sized BIOS, it is not the standard Insyde 1MB, 2MB, or even 3MB; but it is somewhere around 2250KB (2.25MB)
