Here you go , i used HP 2.1 SLIC + Certificate Included:-

1. Copy and paste ******.XRM-MS certificate file into C-Drive.

2. After pasting this file into C-Drive, go to START - ALL PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - COMMAND PROMPT. Right click on Command Prompt and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

3. When Command Prompt opens, type at the prompt: slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\********.xrm-ms and hit the Enter Button. Wait for the Script Host to answer you with a message that the license was installed successfully....this could take a few minutes and so be patient.

4. After receiving the message that the license was installed successfully, type at the command prompt:

slmgr.vbs -ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-***** (Replace with any OEM SLP Product Key for your installed version of Windows 7 , they are not hard to find).Be Patient and wait for the message to say that the Product Key was successfully installed. After it says successfully installed, reboot the computer.

5. When you are back at your desktop, go to START - COMPUTER - right click on Computer and choose PROPERTIES and see if it is activated with an OEM product ID.

hey thanks alot for making this but i am having a heck of a time loading this ive tried the following:
1- tried to load using installer it gives errors 9998 9999 (invalid parameter) using the winflash utility it says invalid windows licence
2- i tried the %temp% method that didnt work either (comes up with invalid windows license)
3- dos prompt i used the awdflash util that didnt install either
4- i re created the bios file using the award tool (pubkey) (i added asus bin and slic/cert ) tried to load that instead of HP that didnt work either
*I think it should have worked in dos but the awdflash tool i used wouldnt work right..*
this HP uses a Asus M2N68-LA ( mainboard)

Hi, Thanks for the help. This is an unusual problem. I tried /f /py /sn and still says Unknown Flash Type. Tried with vanilla bios and in Windows - No go.

man this mainboard has alot of issues in Canada here i purchased it from bestbuy thank god for the extended 3 year warranty i had this mainboard replaced 1 time.. and i spend prob like 1 -2 hours just trying to install the bios i moded with many diff slics only Acer worked for me.. like i explained in the note pad you install the vanilla and replace the .rom and let the vanilla HP loader install thats how i got it to work Dos gave me [censored] of issues.. my advice is you do this take the cmos battery out use the jumper to clear your current bios and then try it my way again .. if not then perhaps contact HP .. Best of luck
