How To Flash A Modded Bios - Bootable DOS Guide

I've been trying to flash a Presario SR2150NX with a custom bios; afudos gives me ERROR READING FILE and amf895 gives me BIOS IS WRITE PROTECTED...

Can someone have steps to create a BIOS/DOS DVD? I see the WIndows 98 DOS folder; do I leave the folder contents inside the "Windows 98 Startup Disk" folder or do I extract them to the root structure of the DVD?

All of the images from the original post are missing and it's unclear how to proceed for those of us who can't boot from USB on their machines
