How to remove UEFI image from GTX 1650 BIOS

I've got an alienware aurora r3 desktop and it won't boot with anything newer than a gtx 980 because the mobo bios doesnt like more modern hybrd vbioses.

The linked thread shows that you can fix this by disabling the UEFI image on the bios, essentially so it is listed as legacy only in GPUZ.

Can anyone help me to do this on my GTX 1650?
