Intel DG45ID raid storage rom

Hi,

I'm new here and before I give you a headache I just wanna say that the site is great :-)

Now down to business, I have a intel DG45ID and iv'e been looking all night for a way to update the storage rom to at least 10.5, so that I can boot from raid arrays bigger than 2tb.

From what I have read it seems that no one has been able to modify the annoying intel .bio files that they use for their bios's.

If this is not the case could someone please give me instructions on how to replace it ? or if someone feels like making me one I'd be happy to pay for it.

My option rom atm is 8.8.0.1009 and the DG45ID board has ICH10R/DO

I just eventually managed to install windows as a gpt partition through the uefi only to now get boot failure every time the computer starts, which i "think" is because the option rom will not let you boot from raid arrays bigger than 2tb and mine is almost 4tb.
